★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 在台灣見到的螢光，大多數是由幼蟲或雄蟲所發出的，少部分如黑翅螢雌蟲有一節的發光器(並且頻率會改變)，約莫從晚間6點多開始，最晚到夜間11點半之後便不再發光，但並非只有不到一小時的發光時間，是光亮最大期確實會發生在7點前後半小時左右。南河社區以往賞螢的路線是由鶴岡→沿山道→東西橋→仁安村→南河村→ 南河村彭屋伙房→阿畢崎古道→半路寮。在這半路寮就是賞螢的地方。現又是螢火蟲出沒的季節也是引起愛好賞螢及攝影朋友開始晚上也出來拍攝火金姑一閃一閃的美姿及線條，南河這伴路寮賞螢秘境確實是好地方。
