★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The English name of this bank should be Taiwan Uncooperative Bank. Imagine going into a bank to do some relatively straightforward thing like changing your pin number on your ATM card and having to go through the ringer. It took them 30 minutes to do and they charged me for the service. Opening the account was also a nightmare, despite my passport and Taiwan ID saying otherwise, I kept getting called an American by the ignorant staff who made me wait for 45min while they jerked me around that time. I've been with them for 2+ years and cannot recommend them. I only use this account as a piggy bank / holding account now. I'd recommend China trust to anyone new in Taiwan looking to open an account. Forget this bank.
