★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 現華宗橋想比照新北新月橋作法，2017.10.09夜拍照片，工人還在調整燈光施工中，感覺還有很大進步空間，周遭環境也要整理改善，目前雜草叢生。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小時候，老爸都會到華宗橋上的水匝門釣鰻魚，土殺魚，鯰魚，現該建的美侖美煥，加上旁邊的抽水站，二旁的自行車車道，到傍晚時的夕陽美景，如今的華宗橋的水流，也整頓的不錯，如有財團來開發，晚上學甲人就多了一處休閒區，橋旁設咖啡區，夙目魚品嚐區，學甲區不只是品學兼優，華宗杯排球賽，農曆三月十一日保生大帝的祭祖，是很懷舊的老鄉鎮，當然組幾團樂團於此演奏，浪漫的華宗橋！
When I was a child, Dad would go to the water gate on the Huazong Bridge to catch squid, kill fish, squid, and now it’s beautiful, plus the pumping station next to it, the bicycle lane on the second side, and the sunset in the evening.
