The Yiwan tribe Sa'aniwan is an Ami language, and its origin is to imitate the sound of owls. The "Chengguang Tianhou Temple" opposite the Guangao Cultural and Landscape Association is the oldest Tianhou Temple in Taitung and the earliest Tianhou Temple in the Houshan Mountains of Taiwan.
