★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Less of a "museum" than a couple displays and a large giftshop/insect care area. Displays are probably good for 20 minutes, but it's free, and you can buy beetles, food and other goods from them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Experience for Kids and family! Very experienced and friendly staff/instructors. Didn't expect to see so many different kinds of insects in one place. Highly recommended as "must go" for family trip in Taipei.

We can also buy some animals and souvenirs from here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was awesome! We went on a Saturday and got there just in time for an interpretive program where you get to interact with the animals, and it wasn’t just insects! We got to hold a rhinoceros beetle, stag beetle, African Pygmy hedgehog, albino rat and a badger ferret. It was super cool. The museum also has a huge Asian water monitor lizard, bearded dragons, a bengal cat, and mata mata (South American freshwater turtles). It’s worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing place! I came to explore around Taipei 101 and found this insect store/museum just as I exited the subway. They have a great gallery with all sorts of live reptiles and insects, including those giant beetles you see in the magazines with the large pinchers and horns. They looked well taken care of and in neat little habitats. I felt like I was in an air conditioned zoo.
