There are many precious plants and animals on the trail. In terms of plants, there are the rare big-leaf mahogany in Taiwan, the sturdy thousand-rooted big white ficus, the century-old sour vine that only exists in Taitung, the wind- and drought-resistant Taiwan Guangla tree, and the board. Jiuding banyan with well-developed roots, Taitung cycads, an ancient relict plant, and eastern endemic native Phalaenopsis known as "Taiwan Ama"...; in terms of animals, there are the rare crested oriole, the eastern endemic Aconitum, and Taiwan's largest yellow phoenix Butterfly, Taiwan's unique Zod's grass lizard, a very small number of orange-bellied tree frogs, Taiwan's native primate macaque, The white-nosed heart and wild boar of Taiwan's unique subspecies...
