柳家梅園梅樹廣達五公頃，近年陸續兼種聖誕紅、細雪聖誕等，每到十一月就開花，花期可到十二月底，在隔年元月梅花綻放前，總能吸引遊客慕名前來欣賞雪白小花，以及充滿喜氣的聖誕紅。
至於梅園的重頭戲賞梅活動，元月則是最佳賞花期，信義鄉烏松崙、風櫃斗、牛稠坑三大梅區，屆時梅花盛開將掀起賞梅高峰。
Plum blossoms are in bloom during Christmas and New Year's Day each year; the most famous location in Niu Chou Keng is Liujia Meiyuan.
The plum trees in the Liujia Meiyuan Garden cover five hectares. In recent years, they have been planted with Christmas red and fine snow Christmas. They bloom every November, and the flowering period can be until the end of December. Before the plum blossoms in January of the following year, it always attracts tourists. Admire the small snow-white flowers and the festive Christmas red.
As for the highlight of the plum garden, January is the best time to enjoy the flowers. The three major plum areas of Wusonglun, Fengguidou and Niuchukeng in Xinyi Township will raise the peak of plum blossoms when the plum blossoms are in full bloom.
