★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, there's really not much to see here. It is more of a glorified rest stop than a museum. Nevertheless, it is free so it's not like you're investing too much to go enjoy the location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The buildings are fine examples of 1930s Japanese-era architecture. Nice snacks in the shop. Not much in the way of pineapple factory displays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really wanted to like this place because I had wanted to visit for so long but there just wasn’t much to it and we invested several hours on the round trip public transportation trip to get to and from there. The staff were all super nice and enthusiastic. My son made a pineapple can bank for 200NT- you get to decorate the label and watch them put the top on, so that is fun. What little they have exhibit wise is very visually appealing and the Japanese architecture and cypress smell of the building is nice.
