During the Japanese occupation period, there was an airport in Benli. It is commonly known as South Airport because it is located at the southern end of Taipei City. After the liberation, it was the gathering place for the military and family members of the national army. Later, due to the increase in population, it was demarcated from Tengyunli and divided into 2li in Lingyunli Stadium during the adjustment of the administrative region on July 1, 1979. On April 1, 1970, the district administrative division adjusted the original Lingyunli Kongnan Village to Xinheli. The two neighbourhoods of Zhongxinli were included in Lingyunli, and on March 12, 1979, the fourth phase of the district administrative adjustment of Taipei City merged Lingyunli Stadium into Lingxiaoli. From February 15, 1982, Kenan Street was renamed Guoxing Road and the house number remains the same.
