Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Terminal 2

It is an amazing and great time to be here although it is just a transit time. It is also clean here as I arrived in Int'l airport. Some store staff are also friendly to ask even just about time direction

Each waiting area has its own theme related ti Taiwanese culturew.

I like this terminal. You can explorer lot of interesting gates with different themes while waiting.

One of the best airports I ever been. Good options for eating, clean toilets and good options for sitting. I can imagine to spend at this airport longer transfers in comfort zone.

Just a short layover while waiting for my flight to Los Angeles. There are some restaurants (though I was looking for boba and found none in this area) and exhibits you can visit. I guess the "main attractions" on this part of the airport are the waiting areas that have different themes and the duty free shops where you can buy anything from Taiwan local delicacies and souvenirs, medicine, clothes, and shoes among others. Btw, my favorite of all lounges was the Hello Kitty lounge. :))

Food, shop and (some) staff ratings Press LIKE for updates When you go inside of section 2, after checking in and going through the barrier, there are not many choices :-( but I suggest that you eat BEFORE going in. There is a good court and also Starbucks besides the barrier. DON'T go to Burger King in the food court. It's not worth it. I suggest that you go upstairs, to the level with Starbucks and before the gate, go to MOS burger. Better choices, better price and has veggie burgers too. Anyway, the food court has all the options you need. It's on ground floor. For Subway, it's on arrivals. This place is honestly confusing. So don't stress too much. For a 7-11 and other food choices, you need to go to the mrt area, to terminal 1. My problem is that most of it opens from 6am. But there are many early flights, so that's not helpful. Next, although the airport is safe, i would say that the cleaners are unusual. I watch many people and i found some behavior strange. For example, I was eating. One cleared away my food before i finished it and i took the food back. No sorry, but then i took the receipt back on my tray. She reached and, I swear, grabbed it, and we went into a tug of war match. Clearly, the receipt matters to her. However, I don't care what it means to her... but she is more attached to that receipt than doing her job. As she is probably used to getting that receipt, she probably has gotten used to taking other things. I can only say this for the food court cleaner... but I wouldn't feel safe leaving my things as I collect food, and strangely enough, it's because of the cleaner. How unusual. Visited during peak travel season, and despite my super early departure time, place was packed to the brim. Traffic at the drop off point is a near standstill. Terminal 2 seems to be dominated by EVA Air, and due to their partnership with Sanrio, there is subtle Hello Kitty themes spread throughout, such as the check in and waiting lounges. Once past security, the madness seems to be better, and the overall feel of the terminal improves as well. The usual shops, food, Wifi are all available, so it does help pass time. Overall, quite a nice airport, just needs much better crowd control at the non restricted areas.

I was pleasantly surprised with the offerings at Terminal 2, especially the unique branch off, public waiting areas that all have a seperate theme ranging from Hello Kitty to music to aviation to orchids. There’s also a massage service offered by visually impaired people on the upper level where the food court is - great airport and efficient security and passport screening
