★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fast, affordable, and luckily came right before popular rush hour so it took exactly 30 seconds after ordering to get each bowl ♡ Ordered two popular flavors- first red bean, milk pudding and tangyuan, and second one 8 treasures bowl. Both were drizzled with sweetened condensed milk and delicious, kinda more expensive for Baobing and slightly smaller portion sizes I feel but still worth it~ both flavors were a perfect combination of creamy & milky with both grainy bean texture and chewey QQ :) ♡

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here for the hot TangYuan soup. Four balls floating on the soup with veggie on top. The skin of the big rice balls are sticky and chewy. The stuffing is savory yet rather salty. Ninety dollars for a bowl of soup is actually a bit too pricey for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ REALLY generous portions for a VERY good price! I must've paid less than 400 for two giant bowls of shave ice! Best part were the mochi balls, where they were an amazing texture and very chewy, hands down the best I ever had!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For those who enjoy the uniqueness of Taiwanese food, this is one of the unique fresh fruits Taiwan style ice, shaved ice and sweet desserts shop you should try. Great for summer seasons! It seems this small shop have been around since after the NTU University was builded, and that's part of its charm. During the winter, I like to come here and have either the warm sweet red beans soup, or the peanuts soup. For those who enjoy ice cold desserts all seasons, then there are enough choices here to satisfy your needs.
Note: Really bad connections for 4G and/or any Wi-Fi in the back sitting area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has to be my go-to place for Taiwanese shaved ice. It's across from National Taiwan University. I had the 8-Treasures Shaved Ice. The 8 toppings: 紅豆(red bean)、綠豆(mung bean)、仙草(grass jelly)、花豆(tofu custard)、Q圓(chewy jelly)、粉圓(tapioca)、芋頭(taro)、薏仁(barley). Make sure you ask for condensed milk to boot, it kicked it up a notch or two!!!
We also had a savory minced pork dumplings. It's also pretty nice. Highly recommended!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shaved ice dessert place has been around for a long long time. The flavors are still the same since when I was a kid. The store still follows the old fashion recipe which is appreciated. Definitely try it out if you are near by. They also have sweet rice balls soup which is also one of their popular items during winter time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over decades of desserts shop located near NTU. They sell both hot and cold local desserts here. They are famous for their shave ice and papaya milk shake. I love their red bean soup with dumplings and will eat it during cold winter.
