Great that they have vegetarian options clearly labelled in English ?? the tomato soup I had with tofu ramen was tasty but next time I might try something a little more spicy. It’s also worth noting that the place is underground so if you follow google maps you’ll need to go into the Basement floor.

I really wanted to like this place but~ alas. ❌Dish was clearly marked 全素 which means no allium. Arrives with raw purple onion on top. ❌Normally you get free extra noodles with your first order. The vegan one only comes with GF tofu noodles and you do not get an extra order, and it is not available as an extra order. ❌You cannot get a side of vegan noodles. ❌Repeat: you cannot get a side of vegan noodles. ❌Still hungry after eating the whole bowl and drinking most of the soup. ⭕️The tomato soup was tasty and light, like gazpacho! ❌The soup is much thinner and less flavorful than the regular tomato soup my friend had. ⭕️The shop staff offered to cook my extra order of eggplant in water instead of frying since they do not separate frying oils. ?? ? 220 vegan tomato ramen ? 30 side of eggplant Food notes! ? The regular tofu noodles are made with egg derivative. Ok for ovo vegetarians! ? All of the pudding desserts contain gelatin. ? The kimchi contains fish sauce. Recommendation: fine if you are vegetarian, hanging with non-veg friends in the area, or have a smaller appetite.

First time step in,let me said sth special about my dinner First,their service is very good,greet you politely in japanese words then give you some pre-meal consideration Water is refillable,you can even request for paper bib,hair rings... I have ordered a classic tomato cheese ramen set which have edamame and wedges for side dish(there is almost 10+types of option) The key is why the soup not hot at all@@i cant believe it taste ok but not hot? Btw,edamame is totally cold ? Sad case for a person like me who wish to eat hot ramen in a cold night

Its not as tasty as we think. We try the vegetarian basil egg ramen (NTD200) & cheese vegetarian tomato ramen (NTD210). The tomato soup taste better than the basil. I maybe wont come back for second time.

A Japanese-styled restaurant underground near Taipei main station: As its name goes, tomato is a major element in the courses sold. Soup noodle and other small plates side dish are good choice! The flavor is nice and tasty, but the price is a bit high. Service is fine and quick. Seats are clean and lighting is bright. It attracts young people to dine inside as they walk by for transfer or shopping. A portion is very sufficient. To order a set is recommended as you can choose some favorite side dishes to enjoy a happy meal!

Best of all, they are very considerate! if you have long hair, they have hair ties at the table. If you don't want to get your clothes dirty, they'll provide a paper bib.

Very accommodating staff and really good curry. Must try in Taipei!

On March 4th 2022 around 10PM, I happened to pass by after eating and strolling around and using the hallway to go to MRT. At that I saw two girls in green shirts getting scolded by Purple dress(should be the Manager).. The voice is loud that I can hear what He spout out. I dont know that behind their service, the waiter/waitress are getting scold fiercely. Seems kinda different from what They should image! No wonder the waiter/waitress who used to serve me really feeling under pressured. To be honest, for the food and price is kinda pricey despite of the Good tomato soup and Tofu noodle, but If I happened to know that waiter/waitress are being treated like so that they give out the best services, I think the money I pay should be for them more than the food itself! Please respect the waiter/waitress more. They are human, and they also need to work to live, not to being told and scold a lot. Treat them nice and they will treat guest nicer.
