★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 沿著蜿蜒的山路前進，桐林國小佇立於台中霧峰東側九九峰山區之中，與一旁的北溝溪對望，環繞在唧唧的蟬鳴聲之中。童謠中「我家門前有小河、後面有山坡」無疑是桐林國小的最佳寫照。
Going forward along the winding mountain road, Tonglin Elementary School stands in the Jiujiufeng Mountains on the east side of Wufeng Mountain in Taichung, facing Beigou Creek on the side, surrounded by the sound of chirping cicadas. The nursery rhyme "There is a small river in front of my house and a hillside behind it" is undoubtedly the best portrayal of Tonglin Elementary School.
