★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is ok. Price is fair. But it doesn’t worth waiting for two hours for it. The seat arrangements are so random that was not first come first serve. They will give you a table only exactly the same number of seats released. So if a group of 7 came later than you but you are a group of 4, they will give the table with 7 seats to another group instead of you.

Pros: value for money, can pay via credit card, foods are good, view of taipei 101 is excellent.
Have not checked Hoops tho.
I will definitely go back and wait again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the most popular local restaurants. If you go to xiangshan mountain, this place is good to go.
It serves fine Japanese food and bottle beer. The atmosphere is so local and there is not many travelers here. Food is so delicious. The only problem is they don't have English menu, which means you may face language problem. I handled it with photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A chill place that serves affordable (Taipei standard) japanese food (izakaya). With a great view of Taipei 101. The only pity is that its a small place and reservation is recommended if you're coming in a group. The place was in full capacity at 7:30pm. (I was there before 6:30pm) some food was even sold out by then.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here on a Thursday night with my boyfriend 30 mins after it opened and was seated by the bar area in the front right away. Later it got packed fast.
The menu was written in Chinese only and we are ABCs that can read very minimal Chinese so we ended up ordering by picking at photos on Google Maps LOL it worked and the waitress knew a little bit of English and told us what kind of meats.
The chicken, rice ball, pork and the bacon wrapped spring onions were delicious! Some of the others we ordered were ok. I’m also surprised they had passionfruit cider which is my fave that I tried in a korean restaurant back in NYC.
Overall, delicious but very pricey for a Taiwan meal. our total was around $30 USD / TWD 869.
