★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why not eat the most authentic ahgei when you are already in Tamsui? The glass noodle filled ahgei topped with special hot sauce was really delicious. Though it is a bit further away from the Old Town area and you have to go up the hill, it is well worth it!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fast and friendly service and 40ntd for a classic original Ahgei can't be beat~ hot sauce is good, yummy but not really spicy, next time I want more! Fishballs stuffed with meat are fresh and have great Q chewey texture, with a simple and light broth. Very clean and simply nice, but weather im summer is too hot for it, won't get it again until fall or winter haha...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Agei which is Dong Fen (Chinese glass noodles) wrapped by tofu is really delicious here. I like it that the glass noodles is dry inside and it absorbs the gravy given. Simple traditional dish done well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and delicious.... if compared to the current one at 老街, they are so much better. Must try... the tofu skin and glass noodle texture fit me well. Cheap and yummy....
