★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small buildings dating back to the Qing Dynasty. Refurbished and currently in use to this day. Cute little bridge adjacent. Great views along the Tamsui River via a pleasant riverside walking/biking path. Nearby recently refurbished historical buildings contain relevant art and are all open to the public.
The scenery around here is perfectly beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About 3O minutes walk from Tamsui MRT stop. Beautiful walk to he old customs house. Unfortunately there many motor cycles and bicycle along the river walking path who do not really realise that is us mainly a path for walking.
Lots of shops nearby. The shops along the river are more expensive than in the Old Street.
For cheap meals go to the market area.
