★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to enjoy sunset or check in with best photo of course it the weather is fine, unluckily for me, that day it’s rained a little bit and i come too late, sky is going dark very quickly. But kids like here, atmosphere was so good and clean. Some street singer played guitar for best local music. Nice place to sightseeing in good weather.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tamsui is a bustling riverside area that can be reached easily buy MRT or bus. Alternatively you can get there by going to Bali and taking the ferry across. This is the preferred option if you’re driving as the Bali is quieter and the parking is easier and cheaper. Both sides of the river offer a variety of street food and the chance to people watch. But the area in Tamsui is bigger with more to see.
If you do take the ferry don’t be put off by the line. On the return journey the line was very long which really scared us, but because of the capacity of the boat we only waited half a hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ferry ride from Tamsui to Bali and vice versa is one of the escapades you don't wanna miss out. The sunset and the sound of the sea makes me realize life's simple happiness and there's the beautiful view of the bay and Mt. Guanyin.
After your ferry ride from Bali to Tamsui, it's nice to stroll along Tamsui's Old Street which has a bunch of stalls selling any famous local produce the area’s known for and lots of street foods plus some music from street artists.
