As good as usual ?

Dinner was a bit crowded so service was a bit hectic. Food taste good. Price was decent. Went there for birthday and the cake they served wasn't that good. But overall a great place for dinner.

Steak has a strange spongy texture. Bass fish was overcooked and very dry. Vegetarian pizza looked good. Appetizer and salad that was part of the set menu was decent. But scary thing was all the cockroaches running into the entrance. Staff was killing them and picking them up in a dust pan.

My dinner in Hualien city. Salad is enough for me nowadays. l cannot take beef steak and pumpkin soup. That is too heavy for me. It is only 5 minutes walk to my hotel and it is near to the train station. The staff are friendly and the environment is good. The price is affordable.

Pretty good choice for family dinner or friends gatherings.

The place can be quite busy so it might be best to have a reservation. We didn't but the wait was only maybe 10-15 mins. The staff was very friendly, attentive and knew some English. Although the restaurant looks like you should wear formal attire many were in jeans and casual shirts. All of the food was very delicious and the wait between each course was very small.

Had the most unsatisfying meal in Taiwan. For a 6 course meal the servers gave the impression that they are working in a fast-food place. Service was clumsy and rushed. Servers made a lot of noise shuffling around and clearing the used dishes. They need more training. Even though the decor is supposed to be inviting, we didn't feel relax or comfortable in the restaurant. The dishes looked better than their taste. Gartin and Pumpkin soup were good. We ordered beef stew but found that the beef was over tenderised and flavor wise I only tasted HP sauce. Perhaps this is how Taiwanese like their beef stew. The table next to us ordered beef steak but it seems they didn't rest enough. Creme brulee was also disappointing. Salad leaves crunchy but dressing just meh. Abit of citrus fruit in the dressing will make it more palatable.
