是一間非只有商品販賣的可可農場, 會細心介紹講解有關可可相關資訊, 旁邊就有現成的可可果實, 正在日曬的可可豆等實品, 雖然只有老闆和老闆娘兩人, (可愛的兩個小朋友想幫忙, 但目前似乎只是給媽媽添麻煩,哈) 但非常認真講解每一項產品, 也有產品的試吃, 可以看出每樣產品, 是老闆和老闆娘用心生產, 並花心思規劃而來的心血, 雖然沒有裝潢, 但只要你願意留下來, 跟老闆聊聊,會讓你對可可, 有更多的認識:)

Home to the farmer who pioneered Pingtung’s chocolate industry (邱銘松), this small, family-run farm sells delicious chocolate and provides private, intimate tours of their farmland and the chocolate process from tree to bar. Reservations are required in advance for a tour, though you can stop by during business hours to taste and buy their chocolate.

There are a number of luxury, chocolatiers in Pingtung County and in the Neipu area in particular, but Taiwan Chocó, or TC, stands out in a number of ways. Most importantly, TC pioneered the local cacao farming and handcrafted chocolate industry, now much imitated throughout the region. Unlike others, they’ve remained true to their roots as a family run (now second generation), small ‘farm to bar’ natural cacao farming and chocolate making endeavor. (The most well known chocolatier in Neipu actually doesn’t do any of the farming themselves, but rather they purchase raw cacao beans from various farmers.) What stood out to me was how down-to-earth, friendly and unpretentious the folks at TC were, all the while creating a remarkably luxurious product offered at extremely reasonable prices. TC offers both tempered and untempered 75%, 85%, 95% and 100% award winning dark chocolate (all vegan) as well as 65% (all vegan) dark chocolate bars in a number of varieties, all using only local ingredients~toasted, indigenous red quinoa, sea salt, roselle hibiscus and peanut. They additionally offer a non-vegan milk chocolate bar. Non-vegan dark chocolate ice cream is offered as well. We were very impressed by the sophistication and smoothness of the chocolate products. Depending on the cacao percentage, notes of cherry, citrus, coffee and even floral could be perceived. Among the chocolate bars, we particularly enjoyed the red quinoa with its nutty crunch, yet without distracting from the high quality chocolate itself. The hints of sour from the roselle hibiscus were quite enjoyable as well and provided an interesting contrast to the sweet, dark chocolate. TC additionally offers tours and DIY experiences for groups of 4 or more with advance reservations.
