Teacher's Mansion

The teacher's office is still a residential house, and the old house is lack of maintenance and is broken. There is nothing to appreciate except the plaque. Later generations are very friendly to tourists.

Dalongdong Chen Yueji's ancestral home was built by the talented scholar Chen Xunyan from the Qing Dynasty after crossing the sea to Taiwan to do business, also known as the teacher's house. There are many families living there, and many cats are also hidden. This is also Chen Weiying ’s hometown. For Chen Xunyan ’s fourth son, Enke was selected in the village test. There is a plaque called “Waihan” in the ancestral family of Chen Yueji. The Chen family had three lifters, so there were three pairs of lifters, and the ancestral home of Chen Yueji now has stone flagpoles, sculptures, figures, tigers and so on. There is a very special plaque in the house, which is "Golden Gate" with black text on the gold background; under the "Golden Gate" there is a "Antarctic Starlight" screen board, and the sign is written "Tianshui Zhuang Wenxing Wedding Pen"; The door god in the house is not like the style of northern Taiwan or Changhua, but more like the style of Tainan. Later, Zhuang Wenxing had been guided by Chen Yufeng in Tainan. It is speculated that the door god in the house may also be painted by Zhuang Wenxing. In addition, there are quite special calligraphy couplets in the house, which are worthy of appreciation. "Three meals, a few cups of tea, a hearth of incense, and ten thousand volumes of books. Why ask the true fairy Buddha from outside the world. Ye Jiangyue contains large articles where there are no sentences. "(The professional writer, Guangdong Confederate Zheng Buchan wrote the title" Fu Gufuzi's Order of the Order of the Church ".) The content and writing style of this couplet are very beautiful and wonderful. On the whole, Chen Yueji's ancestral house really has historical and cultural value and significance. At the same time, it needs to be valued and protected, and I hope to restore it to its original appearance as soon as possible.

Turning into such a decadent monument is very euphemistic, and there should also be a factor of helplessness. In the meantime, I encounter the descendants of the Chen family and get a polite smile, which feels very warm.

Dalongdong Teacher's House is an ancestral temple and temple collectively referred to by the Chen family, Yue Ji, and the public industry. Adjacent to Taipei Qi Cong School, and Tzu Chi Datong Jingsi Hall. Opposite the street is the Taipei Auditorium of the Taipei Municipal Bureau of Culture, and the Dihua Wastewater Treatment Plant Leisure Park. Among the culturally preserved buildings around Dalongdong are the Teacher’s Mansion, which is also listed as a national monument, the four old houses with swallowtails on the surrounding walls, and the two erected flagpoles. This old building that has not been well maintained and refurbished, I saw a notice saying "No parking", and no other explanatory signs saying much about the historical background. People step into the small gap door in the wall, and what you see is the old faded empty old house without the walls on both sides. This was originally the ancestral home of Wenkui in the courtyard. At present, we can only see that the newly maintained ancestral hall has been renovated, and the rest of the houses are historical sites, but still retain their old appearance. The vicissitudes of old architects left some sighs. There are not many buildings with flagpoles to be seen in Taipei City!
