The students of Chengda University are mostly composed of the children of the faculty members of Chengda University. Children of non-political faculty members have to wait in line or draw lots to enter school.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雖然操場很迷你（僅有三線跑道）但校園維護很整潔。亦保留了鞦韆。是台北市少數還保有鞦韆的小學之一。
Although the playground is very small (only the three-lane track), the campus is very neatly maintained. Swings have also been retained. It is one of the few primary schools in Taipei that still has a swing.
