★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here doesn’t taste good for such a price. I ordered Seafood Paella and French onion soup. Not what I have expected the price here is in the high range. The seafood paella priced at about $680 ntd and the onion soup is about $270 ntd. And it taste nothing like it’s worth the price. I rather have some local Taiwanese food or Japanese food for this price. I think people will pay for just the environment of the restaurant as it seems very quiet and high class. I wouldn’t want to come here for just the food. Or maybe other variety of food maybe taste better than what I have ordered. But overall I wouldn’t want to come back to pay for this again. I would pay this amount for better quality food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel, nice cafe in the hotel, with a great view of the courtyard, big tall green trees! Now, if they could only serve delicious food, which they didn't. The food was not bad bad, but the club sandwich was not up to par. The shrimp pasta was okay. The beef noodles were sub-par! We had problems with the latte which came with the pasta set, it was terrible! They agreed to re-do one and the new one was better. What I thought was bad was the explanation the manager gave for the bad latte, she said they made latte differently depending on whether it came as part of the set lunch or ordered separately. Are you kidding me! A latte is a latte! You could have told me that latte could not be offered as part of the set lunch or there would be an extra charge. But you don't give customer a terrible latte just because it was part of a lunch set!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anyone who’s been in Taipei any amount of time knows the sheer rarity of the following combination: Lawns and trees within view from expansive floor-to-ceiling windows in the tightly urbanized Xinyi district. Cooking ranges from above average to excellent (from breakfast omelettes to afternoon tea and seafood dinner plates — yes, I live near by). Sprinkle on top the Eslite attention to detail and spirit of hospitality, and you’ll understand why I’m a return customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff and perfect environment, especially for the view of courtyard. Furthermore, there are a lot of books for you to read! It’s a great place to enjoy your afternoon.
However, the quality of food is not worth for this kind of price. For example, the beef noodles is more than $500 NTD, but it only contains 6 small pieces of beef and tastes nothing special... If you come here for food, you might be upset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warm services and nice food. Had set menu for two, including a ribeye steak and tagliolini pasta as the main dishes, both are quite tasty and nicely cooked. This restaurant is nicely decorated! You will have the bill 50 percent off with certain Amex cards, issued by Taiwan Amex.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elegant atmosphere at the same time relaxing w the open window view to hard to come by nature park inside metropolitan area. Food and service were excellent. Perfect setting for afternoon tea. Steak was a bit over cooked but voluntary exchanged it until satisfied. Missing one star because of the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The environment is nice but I would definitely not recommend it to vegans/ vegetarians.
I never complain about food but the “Buddha bowl” I ordered was canned vegetables, beans, and extremely sweet & sour carrots. Really difficult to finish ?
