Awesome coffee! The owner isn’t very talkative but he’s a very nice and gentle person. The coffee was great of course, I’ve been here twice and tried Americano and Cappuccino. Both great and I can’t wait to go again just to try other flavors. It’s perfect to sit on the bench out there when the weather is nice !

Small shop reminiscent of the specialty coffee shops found in Japan. Just 5 seats inside and benches outside. Glad to be able to seat inside and chat with the barista who happens to be the owner and the roaster too. It’s a one-man show and was worth the walk finding the place.

Quality syphon coffee, and will definitely come back to try their latte. Friendly boss, cozy little place, limited space but just nice for chatting/reading books. He roasts his own beans and sell beans too.

Nice place to hangout and grab a cup of coffee, but it’s not astonishingly good. Quite overpriced as you can get a better cup of coffee for half the price nearby. Would only recommend if you want to sit by while sipping a cup of coffee. It’s intriguing how there’s many machines too

The FOLKS is one of my highlight for specialty coffee in Taipei. The owner runs everything in the cafe, he even roasts coffee himself. Look at him leisurely doing his job made me feel so relax. With his love and understanding for coffee, he choose the best coffee beans to serve for his customers. Lovely cafe with passionated owner! You need to have a coffee here.

Creatively delightful and unique experience. We tried Con Pana and ice filtered coffee with ice cream on the side. Each one was so unique, so captivating and so made me want to write a review. At the end we also ordered Chocolate Con Pana and the barista treated us to two caps instead of one because there were two of us. The place is cozy and great for not only for a beautiful and delightful coffee but also to have a meeting or to read a book while sipping Con Pana.

I love this little gem of a cafe, and the owner Ling is a great, warm and friendly guy. He’s very knowledgeable about coffee and truly enjoys being a barista, and his shop even uses a high quality water filtration system. The pour-overs served are generally a lighter roast coffee preferring a more fruity flavor, while his espresso drinks are a medium roast. Ling roasts his beans onsite. His shop is small, but very well done and has a bright, mellow vibe that reminds me of Japanese cafes. Ling speaks English well and is always pleasant to see. I always look forward to stopping by when visiting Taipei and highly recommend you do, too!

TL:DR - Quite possibly the chillest coffee shop in Taipei. Chill vibes - Just had myself a very chill espresso sitting at the bar, which wraps around this coffee guru’s work station, which creates an intimate and inclusive vibe. It’s as if we’re all invited to watch as the coffee magic happens. Amazing interior - The wooden patio exterior floor extends into the coffee shop, separated by a thin floor-to-ceiling glass wall that offers excellent street views (photo showing this). The owner clearly aimed at creating a fluid space where the outdoors and indoors blend, and I think they achieved their goal. Great location - Some shops have busy traffic. This shop’s situated in more of an alley next to a food market with local foot traffic. Open early! - Not too many local coffee shops open at 8am in Taipei.
