★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked away on Yang Ming mountain but conveniently located next to the municipal parking lot. It has an expansive view of the city from up high. The building was first built by the Japanese and later used as the temporary presidential residence of Chiang Kai-shek soon after the communist take-over of China. The lunch combos they serve are simple but well made. The guests can tour the gift shop and see a brief historical exhibition while dining there. Well worth a visit.
