★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 祠堂正身為五開間翹鵝屋脊，而兩側橫屋均設有廊廳，廊廳部分屋頂亦為翹鵝屋脊，故有燕尾多之稱。
The ancestral hall is the ridge of a goose with five openings, and the hall on both sides is provided with a gallery. Part of the roof of the hall is also a house with a dovetail.

建築構造上，劉家祠之基礎多以石材鋪設，象徵家業穩固，牆體大多以土埆牆為主，惟正面部分以磚疊砌，其中橫屋之牆面間又以黑牆構築，而橫屋之山牆面為斗子砌牆，獨具風味。宗祠的屋頂部份以黑色板瓦疊砌，屋脊翹鵝線條優美，橫屋之屋脊與馬背(棟頭)並存，是劉家祠的特色之一，因此有「燕尾多」之稱。劉家祠的大木作及小木的雕刻均極為精彩，特別是正身步口廊之木構架部份，不論瓜筒、通隨、束仔及出檐斗拱等極具藝術價值，其中又以吊筒之蓮花雕刻及倒趴獅豎材更具匠藝。

In terms of architectural structure, the foundation of Liu’s Ancestral House is mostly paved with stone, which symbolizes the stability of the family business. The wall of the mountain of Yokoya is built by buckets, which has a unique flavor. The roof of the ancestral hall is built with black tiles. The ridge of the ancestral hall is beautifully shaped. The ridge of the horizontal house and the horseback (the head) coexist. It is one of the characteristics of the Liu Family Ancestral Hall, so it is known as the "many swallowtails." The large wooden works and small wooden carvings of Liu Clan Ancestral Hall are very wonderful, especially the wooden frame part of the entrance corridor of the body. No matter the melon tube, the tongsui, the beam and the eaves bucket arch, etc., it is of great artistic value. Among them, the hanging tube is used. The lotus carving and the upside down lion vertical material are more artisan.
