★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To know more about Taiwan in the past and how various ones sacrificed themselves for the motherland, this is a worthy visit. Entry was free on 端午节 and the atmosphere was lively and relaxing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great architecture ruined by noise pollution. Taiwanese and government love noise - constant PA, ridiculous music at every corner, uncontrolled children screaming. This historic site is supposed to be a cultural sanctuary for people to immerse themselves into the history and appreciate the ancient beauty. Instead, it has become a zoo polluted by superficial decor. Poor, poor management.
