★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really beautiful and historic park in Taipei. So proud and touching there is a such well organized place to feel different angle of Taipei. Expecting this park becomes one of the famous attractions of Taipei and looking forward to seeing the whole rebuilding plan around this area, then you can feel the grow path of this city from 19 century to now!! Wish there will be a new urban vision cross modern and history in Taipei to provide all people visit or live here can not only enjoy 101 but more historic spot!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the big red bricked gate surrounded by road in every side. Not much good building view since there are still a lot of construction site. You can take some photos but not much time need to spend on this place, I only visit the place because the path to night market consist of this place during the route.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well-maintained historical city gate locates in the center of the city. We came for a firework display evening. Super crowded but still fun. Not suggested come here during the fireworks night though.

The geographical position of the North Gate is extremely important, in the Qing dynasty it was the main road to Dai Daocheng, now the central landmark of the ""Western area"" of the old Taipei citadel.
The North Gate located right beside Taipei Main Station which attracts many enthusiastic art students to come and training their drawing or photography skills. Nearby is a famous “Taipei ‘s camera street” and only 15 minutes walking to Ximending area which is super good for tourist to explore. "
