It's outdoors and is run out of a van, but don't let that stop you from visiting. The owner and his girlfriend are extremely nice and speak good English, but also draw some locals with their relaxed atmosphere and good service. Rain or shine, early or late, Mark will be here serving up good beer, good food, and great conversation. A definite must-see.

h	horzac on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a historic business, in a minor way that matters to a select group of visitors to Taiwan--particularly the Kenting area--who've had years to watch the evolution of this place. This bar began serving at the roadside outside music venues like that legendary Spring Scream going back to 2006, and for probably at least that last 10 years had been parked at the same spot on Kenting Street as a leader in the distinctive roadside vendor culture here. The owner, Mark, is a native of the area but a good speaker of English, and also happens to serve the best mojito that can be found anywhere. If you want to partake of some genuine Kenting after-hours nightlife (and the stuff on the main strip is generally awful) with a relaxed outdoor environment, you can't do better.
