★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Pier 2 was a fun place to explore. There is a huge variety of artistic sculptures and paintings dotted throughout the area. Some are very large metal pieces and others are small photographs or paintings. We really enjoyed our time here. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice outside place with a LOT of exhibits to visit along with numerous restraints and snack shops to visit. Do not recommend visiting on a hot summers day cuz you will absolutely get burnt out with the 40 degrees Celsius weather. There’s many places to visit within the area and many are excellent for photography. There is also a large bookstore to visit (shown below) and you will enjoy the AC in a hot summers day
On a side note, there is also a small train route where both adults and children can enjoy the ride around the pier; however, the price is about 200NTD which is kinda a scam, so unless you are not visiting Taiwan often, I do not recommend taking the mini train

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a wonderful art village where you can walk around from building to building seeing different exhibits. Mostly free. Love the vibe. Been here multiple times, many exhibits change and some stay the same. Will definitely go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This old harbor warehouses converted retail and art hub should have been a top tourists and locals destination and attraction for any day of the weeks. I have visited here more than a half a dozen times before in weekends, holidays, weekdays, or daytime and evening.
To my surprise, only during the weekends and holidays, there were crowds roaming around the outdoor display and businesses inside those renovated warehouse buildings. A venue like this should be a fantastic designation chosen by families or friends for gathering or business people for conversation and of course tourists for sightseeing schedule. But during the weekdays, I found myself was like the only creature wandering in the quiet lanes between some deserted old buildings or the few outdoor art pieces nearby.
If this place were in a different country or a region like say, the Taipei city, I am sure that there'll be waiting lines outside those nicely decorated restaurants and bars, cash registers in retail stores will be busy ringing, and the walkways and open grounds will be crowded with people of all ages most of the time. Each time that I visited this place, I would buy food or purchase something I have no purpose for, oh well, a small contribution to the store operator for their devotion and courage to keep their business afloat as their part of supporting the whole attraction prosperous.
The city government created this area as one of the city's attractions, and it spent billions of dollars to build a swing bridge across the water in recent years. But I think the city has missed the point that what long term functional attraction is lacking inside this attraction park.
Nonetheless, it's a nice place to spend some hours getting away from the street traffic jam and noises at anytime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super nice place to go to. Everything just seems so aesthetic and there's a lot of things you can do and take pictures of. The Great Harbor bridge is just across and there are more activities you can do there too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Art lovers and romantic couples will love this place. So beautiful, season wise, the art exhibitions change, and in the evening time you can see a lot of grand made products sold by small entrepreneurs, which is really cute and made of natural products.
Recommended for people who like to take a 3 km walk. If you don't want to walk, you can use the mono rain shuttle service from one end to another end to view the excellent environment and experience beautiful scenery.
This is my 5th time over there. I just go and sit for inner peace lol ?.
Happy vacation fellows
Peace ✌️ ✌️ ✌️
