The Place Taichung

everything is nice. i love your reception both at front desk and restaurant. they are polite, smiling, and quick action. great!. But your breakfast is weak for 5 star standard. my friends are vegetarian, they have very little choice. may i suggest you to have more cheese and at least ONE soybean dish in the future.

Great hospitality and good location where the Art Museum is just across the road. The hotel also helps to pay for street parking when its basement parking lot is full. The breakfast is great; not a lot of options but in general they are all fresh and delicious. The sound proof can be improved and I hope there are facilities for the kids within the hotel.

Overall experience of stay was very pleasant. The atmosphere is young and lively. Front Office Winnie provided really warm service during my stay and was extremely helpful.

Small, cozy, super modern and chic design. Love their shower, with quality shampoo and bath gels (no conditioner). Limited on-site free parking if you can find a space; otherwise it’s a bit inconvenient to park, but still free. Their bed is comfy, but too way short. I’m pretty sure your feet would be dangling outside of the bed if you’re 5’9” or taller... The comforter is nice but their standard pillows flatlined on me after a few minutes. I tossed and turned and slept poorly?. Found out that I can request for a firmer pillow. Will see if that does the trick!! 3 cool looking hangers hanging on the rack and found two stored under the sink? The restaurant downstairs, Zebra, does not offer vegetarian pasta. Not good for a vegetarian that does not consume cheese. Their breakfast starts at 6:30am - love, love, LOVE their small delectable assortment of cheese, cold cut, salad, congee and fresh coffee???. Really friendly staff, a big plus!

Room is clean and chic , good for small group of people who travel to Taichung. Location is very close to Art museum and lots of tea or coffee shop around in walking distance.

Good location and still fairly new. Super friendly staff. Room cleaning might need some improvements. We saw many part of our room that weren’t cleaned thoroughly. Overall the room was ok but not much inside. Probably ideal for short visit. 5star to the staff here but 3 on average.

This time is a small family trip, 12/30-1/1 Fortunately, there is a standby until the evening of 12/31, because I need three days and two nights. The service staffs are very patient and polite, whether it is the counter or telephone inquiries. The planning of the room is different from the general hotel, it is very good, especially the toilet is a separate room. It is very important that the room is clean and tidy. The overall accommodation experience, very comfortable! Next time I go to Taichung, I will choose The Place Taichung again! Eric
