A very small but adorable place.
16 workshops selling their own products which quality are all great. You can get some unique items though they are somewhat expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was curious to see this red brick house from afar and decided to see what's inside. Basically it has many shops selling handicraft, souvenirs, soaps, something like that. In the walls, we can see what is the history of this red house before. There's a free public restroom if you think it's kind of hard to find one in Ximending Market area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The facade was very beautiful. It is a place where you can buy souvenirs and stuff. All items are very cute and unique. I even found a store where they sell pressed glass bottles. It is just a very few walks away from Ximen Station Exit1

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like the architecture from outside. Inside there are so many local artist brand and unique stuff to see and buy. Some you only can find here. If you like unique stuff and limited edition stuff you must love this place. They also have postcard stall which you can choose and they will help to send it from there by the time you want. Acesorries like earings also I found it unique but not allowed to take picture though. You can explore 2 floors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place full of history! Inside are little shops and vendors that sell super cute souvenirs, pens, crafts/other handmade items. Definitely worth going inside to see the more local Taipei crafts and to get some unique souvenirs! The surrounding area is also very lively, with performers, musicians and other little shops!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful heritage building with a large range of interesting shops selling unique stuff inside. It was very enjoyable to look around at the displays about the history of the building and shopping for some souvenirs too. We had some tea at the tea shop on the ground floor, but it was quite expensive even given the location of the shop. Probably better to try the cafes in surrounding areas if you happen to be thirsty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful historical building right next to ximending. Must visit if you are in Taipei! When you walk in, there are walls of information about the Red House and it's construction. Regularly, there are dozens of artisan booths selling everything from jewelry to clothing to knickknacks and everything in between. I spent over an hour visiting every stall. I visited before the pandemic and all the booths were open, but currently (September 2021) many booths were fenced off and the staff informed me that the employees were not always working. Keep that in mind when visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Red house is truly a historical building filled with arts and crafts. My girls loved this place. One of the shop showcase many types of musical box which was truly enchanting. Every corner of this place shows different art from different times. Do pay a visit if you are nearby.
