Best Western restaurant in Taiwan

S	Stuart Carruthers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a decent buffet which in the 2 occasions I've been there has been quite quiet. The food isn't outstanding but it is decent.

L	Long Pham on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed a buffet breakfast here. The quality of the food was good indeed. The decor was pleasantly air conditioned, with good quality furniture. The food was plentiful and any eggs or other dishes that you wanted were cooked freshly for you.
H	Hank Peng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dining ambiance is top notch but not so for the food selection and quality. Nothing made me want to have a second round. At $680 NTD for lunch, it is way too much for the food they have out on the counters. The food selection was minimal. There was no on-the-spot cooking, no beef dishes offered and certainly no all you can eat shrimps (steamed/boiled shrimps, the type you would find in all other all-you-can-eat buffets)! I'm guessing they're anticipating Monday to be a slow day so they don't put out as many dishes as usual, which means sucks for me. The service is slightly above average. But overall, it's average at best. Note: We found a string of lint on our food. The type one would find from one of those Scotch-Brite pads. That kind of affected my appetite (see picture).
L	Low on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buffet lunch is of Novotel standard that there's a good assortments from appetizers, salds, cold dishes, sashimi, warm food, noodle station, pizza, drinks, desserts, ice cream to bakery items. The place is never crowded on weekday lunch hours, but we were somewhat seated side by side with another couple. I also expect the staff to come and bring away the used fishes more often. Some of the food was rather disappointing. For examples, roasted pork, though sliced upon request, was already cold. Duck meat was hard and chewy. Fish dish was using flavorless dory. Would've been a better restaurant if more details are taken care of.
