would like to suggest to reconsider if you are planning to dine at Thali in Neihu. We received the worst service experience I have ever encountered at the restaurant. We arrived promptly at 11:30am for our reservation of 6 adults. When we arrived there was no one at the restaurant and we were told to sit at a small table of six. We were out for a family celebration so we anticipated to order more food and drinks. I politely asked if we could change to the larger table and the server, Kira barked back stating that if we wish to sit at the table we need to pay more, instituting a minimal spend of 300 NTD per person for a total minimum of $2400 ($300 x 8 persons). We found it odd that there is a minimal spend on lunch at a restaurant that is empty. When my 71 year old mother asked again whether it would be sufficient space he said “do you think I would give you a table that couldn’t fit all of you and the food? Do you think I am looking to embarrass myself (打自己的臉嗎?)?”. It was rude and totally unacceptable to say such words to an elderly. We decided to leave and as I was leaving he confronted me at the doorsteps and said “do you think you’re the only person who speaks English? You don’t think I know English?” Again, he was rude and uncalled for. Is it necessary to speak to me about my speaking in English to my husband who is not fluent in Chinese? The server was unprofessional and treated customers with disrespect. I hope the managers of the restaurant can better address his attitude and choice of words when speaking to not only customers but elderlies.

Used to be one of our favorite restaurants that we recommended to many, back when they were in the old location. Recently we had ordered more, but stopped after their delivery menu was heavily reduced to dishes we do not like very much. Today we went to dine in again and received terribly rude service on arrival. We asked for a table extension as usual, because there was not enough room for our usual order and the baby would grab everything. After first saying we would get it when needed, eventually the waiter just slammed it open, clearly annoyed, telling us it is in their way. We left without ordering.

Best Indian Around We were customers of The Thali when they were in their Donghu shop, and we loved it then, but now it's a whole new class of restaurant. The menu is greatly expanded and the atmosphere is fun. Beautiful furniture and decor complete the experience. Their tandoor chicken is a must.Staff is meticulous and attentive. Ask for Peter if you need help ordering like I did.

A very nice place for indian food ?, the taste is also good. The staffs are so good that they will help you to choose the menu according to your preferences and will serve you well.

There ain’t too many Indian cuisine joints in Taipei. This place has a lot to offer. The boneless chicken tikka and the tikka masala curry are the die-fors. Get yourself some rice with butter naan then you’re all set for the meal. Authentic or not, taste-wise this place will not disappoint you if you’re craving some Indian curry. It’s unfortunate that they don’t serve buffet style during weekday lunch hours. But if you ain’t never tried no Indian curry before, this is the place to check out.

Food is good, but just don't get the service. The waiter is probably the most unbelievable one we ever met. Maybe he though himself humorous but very rude in fact. I like the naam anyway. Curry is also good. The Boliwood music is a bit loud and annoying.

Haven’t visited India for over a year due to COVID so I had to satisfy my craving here. Curry was excellent and nan was good. I’d wish they didn’t cut it for us though. Just like them that way visually. But nevertheless food was excellent. Was surprised to meet Mongolian servers but very friendly. Would visit again for sure. Was so full fell into food coma after I got home.

The best Indian Restaurant, crew and staff are accomodating, service is good. Thumbs up to the man who served us Mr. Peter (Maybe he is the owner or Manager) anyways he is friendly and helpful, when you visit this restaurant don’t forget to look for Mr. Peter! If you crave spicy food and have a high tolerance for spicy food this is the place for you, its spice level is up one notch, So when you order for mildly spicy expect it to be extra spicy. The food is worth the burn haha! Food are served freshly cooked, full of flavor exploding in my mouth. Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala and Shrimp Biryani are a must! We’ll definitely return here!
