THSR Zuoying Station Visitor Information Centers

Good station: MRT, High Speed Rail, Taiwan Rail, shops, restaurants, department store.

Full of different gift shops and restaurants.

Great station even with big parking its always packed very early in the day. Very dangerous for people driving there because you will be forced to park illegally or miss your train.

Hi speed rail (HSR) was the best addition to my trip this time in Taiwan. It opens up much of the rest of the country for even short visits. Taipei to Kaoshuing is just less than 2 hours depending on the train. Flying into Taoyuan airport, is actually already the second stop on the HSR journey, making it even quicker to enjoy a long weekend exploring Tainan or other cities. The rail station is clean easy and efficient and functions in three languages, Mandarin, Japanese, English.

You can take the train to get there. May I have a time table? I’m looking for travel guides.

Well laid out station. You don't feel like needing to walk very far to from one place to the next (unlike Taipei hsr) and much less likely to get lost. Connected to the department store and MRT interchange. Ultra convenient

After getting off the high-speed rail from Taichung to Zuoying, I came here on February 20, 2017. Having impressed with the modern terminal, I came to ask for information as to which underground I should take and which station to get off to my hotel. The service was not bad!

This review is many for the THRS in Zuoying Station. First time on the HSR anywhere and it was a pleasant trip for sure. Traveled from Taipei to Zuoying (Kaohsuing) In under 1h30m. The car ride along would have taken 3-4. Highly recommended for any travel. There are 3 classes of cars (business, reserved and non reserved). Not really sure what the real benefit of the business is but the reserved worked fine for us. You don’t have to fight and rush for a seat as you reserved seats for the family. Important note: be prepared for a heck of a maze at the Taipei Main Station compared to Zuoying. There is a lot of movement (the hustle and bustle of train station), but Taipei is nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Signs are labeled pretty clear but just be prepared for the rat race kind of movement. Plan ahead and scope out where you need to go or get there a bit early as there is also shopping around.
