★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 中洲路及員集路一帶遺留很多日治時期留下的中西合璧式騎樓建築，可惜招牌凌亂，人行道疏於維護，如果當局能夠正視田中老城區的歷史價值，此地可以成為良好的觀光景點。
Zhongzhou Road and Yuanji Road have left many Chinese and Western style arcade buildings from the Japanese Occupation period. Unfortunately, the signs are messy and the sidewalks are neglected. If the authorities can face up to the historical value of Tanaka Old Town, this place can be a good tourist attraction.

目前老街約以員集路二段，北乾德宮，南至中州路一段十字路口為主；另外中州路一段也有部分老街屋。
老街屋騎樓的拱門造型是一大特色，立面多紅磚外表，點綴多樣的山牆與泥塑。
建街時間大概是在1910年代，乾德宮「媽祖間」至今剛好落成百年！
而員集路東側平行的東路街也有一些舊三合院與縣定古蹟陳紹年家族的「壽山堂」可以參觀。
The "new streets" that emerged in the middle of the Japanese occupation gathered hope from the "old streets" of Shalun, hoping to create a new situation in Tianzhong, where they settled.
At present, the old street is dominated by the intersection of Yuanji Road Section 2, North Gande Palace, and Zhongzhou Road Section in the south; there are also some old street houses on Zhongzhou Road Section.
The arched shape of the arcade of the old street houses is a major feature. The facade is full of red bricks, dotted with various gables and clay sculptures.
The street was built probably in the 1910s, and the "Mazu Room" of the Conduit Palace has been completed a hundred years ago!
On the east side of Yuanji Road, parallel to Donglu Street, there are also some old courtyards and the "Shoushantang" of the Chen Shaonian family's historical site.
