★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasantly surprised, was expecting a good meal and I must say it didn't dissapoint.
Service of staff from start to finish was top class and professional. After orders were done, a handwritten menu of what we ordered was given to us, a nice touch.
Food plating and the taste itself of all dishes was excellent, especially the shrimp.
Portion size was just right, great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food quality is good but I prefer stronger flavour. Taste is rather blend with excellent service. The best dishes is the crab meat tofu with added vinegar - superb ! The fried river prawn with added vinegar not too bad. The special fried rice with claypot in front of us was average. The kong Pao chicken could have a little spicier, smoke duck was great but the drunken chicken a little tasteless. The fish ball soup is unique especially the fish ball is so soft and smooth but the soup is tasteless. You would be serving a special plate with chinese calligraphy but you don’t get to use it.. they would even write you a scroll using chinese calligraphy on the menu we have ordered. However, the tea is way expensive ranged from $200 to $800 per person per pot! i don’t appreciate tea so I chose not to have it. The desert is great with baked dates with sesame pastry .. unique and not so sweet. Overall experience was good .. Sercice is TOP notch with great ambience for business or private discussion!

東坡肉: pork was very tender and flavorful. The broth was tasty and went well with the rice, noodles, and bread.
龍井蝦仁: Light taste, but shrimp texture was excellent
宋嫂魚羹: Fish meatball is sooooo soft, and the soup overall tasted good, high quality
酥炸响铃: Fried bean curd rolls are so thin and super crispy - after the first crunch, the roll melts in your mouth
酒糟甜汤圆: never had broth with tangerine in it before, a very refreshing taste
杏仁松子糊: excellent almond milk soup, very refreshing
Service was also excellent. We came near closing time and the chef personally greeted us.
Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like the pork. But too many seafood I darent to eat. The dishes are separate for each person probably due to Covid19 but we also have less choice to reject the food we don’t like. They didn’t provide rice soon enough which is weird too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Michelin one star, well deserved. Located in B1 level of the hotel which was probably the only thing I didn't like. The dishes were all wonderfully delicious. My favorites were the yellow leek with eel (crunchy yellow leek was a prefect match to the eel), scallions cake (full of flavors from the scallions and the sesames, with great textures). The double sided fried noodles was different, with the vegetables stuffed in the middle of two layers of fried noodles, delicious! Service was very good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well worth the Michelin one star - one of the best Chinese restaurant in town. Wonderful dining experience from the very beginning - staff were welcoming, each course is nicely decorated, ambiance was elegant, and most importantly - food is really delicious. Had their signature set which includes the famous 龍井蝦仁，東坡肉，and 宋嫂魚羹。Food portion is really big, and they served multiple desserts. Highly recommended especially for elders.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Hangzhou staples evidence attention to detail and craftsmanship - but the theatrics of dining here are even better. A Handwritten calligraphy scroll listing the dishes you've had is a nice souvenir - and illustrates the personality of the restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came for a friend’s bday. Quality of food is great, however the price is on the higher end. As such, it is more a spot for an occasion. Was greeted by the chef and they also had someone in house at the time write our receipt using Chinese calligraphy for us to take home for keepsake, this was kinda neat. Personally, I think for same or lower price you can find comparable food elsewhere, but if you need a posh spot to celebrate then this is a good choice.
