★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view of northern coastal shoreline and Guishan Island, train accessible trail starts from Fulong station and ends at Dali station. Caoliao Historical Trail is a great day hike. Remember to grab a famous bento box from Fulong for picnicking at the top!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The monument is inscribed in cursive script that was written by Liu Mingdeng, the chief soldier of Taiwan in the Qing Dynasty, in 1867. It is located beside the trail at the pass at the top of the Caoling Historic Trail.
