★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 南門教會胡茂生牧師所領導的台北中會傳道部企劃小組，竭力想物色一適當地點開設教會。於是中和、永和地區的信徒們，有志一同地發起三次設教祈禱會，第一次1980年12月23日由退休傳教者梁秀德牧師領會，同年25日由雙和教會李秋南牧師主領，翌年1月6日第三次祈禱會由梁文彬長老主理。元月11日下午二點借用信徒麥明哲先生經營的勝利幼稚園開始第一次主日禮拜，並邀請胡茂生牧師證道，中和教會之初步型態如是產生。
The Taipei Central Mission Mission Planning Team, led by Rev. Hu Maosheng of Nanmen Church, is trying to find a suitable place to set up a church. Therefore, the believers in Zhonghe and Yonghe Districts together launched three prayer meetings. The first time was received by Pastor Liang Xiude, a retired preacher, on December 23, 1980. The third prayer meeting on January 6 was hosted by Elder Liang Wenbin. At 2:00 pm on January 11th, a victorious kindergarten run by a believer, Mr. Mai Mingzhe, started the first Sunday service, and Rev. Hu Maosheng was invited to testify that the preliminary form of the Church was born.
