Very nice port, A lot to see and do in the vacinity. The port is well maintained, Clean and always tidy. Plenty of shopping for those that enjoy shopping and very nice walks around the hills of Keelung. Very nice and quiet atmosphere to sit and watch the shops going out or coming in.

Renovations about done. The new port is expected to open soon. Place is spacious and well maintained.

We booked a cruise and this was our embarkation site.The port is very near Keelung train station as well as bus station. There is a cafe and convenience store inside and there are also several food choices nearby. It is very organized inside and they were several information attendants which you can go to if you have questions.

Keelung has mountains, seas and ancient relics, but today the city is confined to the narrow flats near the port. The port is full of coastline, the beautiful mountains lack good lines, the old city is congested, and its advantages have been buried in A hundred years of beauty and mourning. Departing from Taipei city, arriving at night market stop by the metropolitan bus, a short walk to the port, a huge cruise ship docked at the end of the road, this unique landscape is impressive for the people living in Taipei; when the diamond princess entered the port, the passengers carried the baggage and fished out of the passenger hall. The whole city was not very glamorous. I asked myself, where are these luggage passengers going? It turns out that they are not here, but they are going far away to find a bus or train that connects to Taipei. It turned out that Keelung was just passing by, a city with mountains and seas. How could it not let the tourists stay in the mountains and stay close to the water? Here is not only the temple front finger food snacks, but also the slippery fish market, the forgotten freshwater street, the disappearing Xindian Street; the Kailong urban planning of the 15th year of Taizheng (1926), which is left here for a hundred years. The changing urban model is even the story of the Qing Dynasty war. A year ago, there is a viewpoint the colorful Zhengbin Fishing Port. 基隆有山、有海、有古遺跡，但現今城市被侷限在港口附近的狹小平地，港務占滿海岸線，美麗的山巒缺乏良好動線，市區老舊擁塞，埋沒了他的優勢，道盡百年的美麗與哀愁。 從市府轉運站出發，下了大都會客運，往港口步行一小段，就看到龐大的郵輪停靠在路的盡頭，對台北市生活的人來說，這獨特的景觀令人印象深刻；鑽石公主進港了，旅客拉著行李魚貫了出了旅客大廳，整個市容不怎麼光鮮，我自問著，這些拉行李旅客要去哪裡?原來它們並不在此佇足，而是走向遠遠的200公尺外，找接駁到台北的巴士或火車。 原來來基隆只是過客的路過，一個有山有海的城市，怎麼會沒讓旅客留下來親山，留下來近水呢？這裡不是只有廟口小吃，還有濕滑的崁仔頂魚市場、遺忘的淡水街、消失的新店街；翻開大正15年(西元1926年)的基隆市區規劃，這裡遺留著百年來不變的城市模型，甚是清法戰爭故事。 一年前我們還為正濱漁港塗上了顏色，大聲拍拍手，以為這個城市已經開始翻轉了。我們ˊ的期待這裡是一個有歷史、有故事的新樣貌，基隆不要辜負了大家。
