★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice Korean style restaurant in the B2 food court of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store near the Taipei Main Station. Four kinds of appetizers are free to refill. Unlimited soja-softice and coffee are also included. The length of your stay is limited to 90 minutes. Main parts of the menu have English translations.

I was disappointed in everything here. From the coffee, tea, ice cream, food and service. I don't give that many bad reviews but this place marketed itself as a nice restaurant. It was definitely priced like a nice restaurant.
None of the food had any flavor. We ended up not finishing most of the meal. You also can't take it to go and have a 90-minute timer for the table. You get unlimited coffee and ice cream, but they barely qualify as coffee or ice cream.
This was one of my most disappointing meals in Taipei.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So there are a few highlights and lowlights of Tofu village.
Highlights: the restaurant has a good atmosphere, clean, and well ventilated. Many side dishes and if you dine in, these side dishes are refillable. We ordered 3 dishes, however, the seafood pancake was amazing and was the best out of the three.
Lowlights: price is very expensive, three dishes cost 1100ntd including a 10% service fee that's added to the bill automatically. The coffee is below average. The ice-cream was the worst, there's no taste, no sweetness, nothing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here was really good and it came with a lot of extras! The staff was helpful to identifying food and dealing with my egg allergy. We ordered two dishes (both amazing) and it came with plenty of 반찬 which were refillable. In addition to tea, you can get another free drink from their automated barista/latte machine, as well as free tofu ice cream (not dairy free though). I highly recommend dining here!
