80% of the original historical buildings are ruined.
MOST OF THE BUILDINGS ARE REBUILT BY TAIWANESE OUTSOURCING CONTRACTORS.
Everthing looks very strange here.
Very sad.
View from the top is ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's no longer Japanese shrine . Only the building is kept. Suggest to go up the tiger head mountain and all the way up to the monument. You can have a good view of east coast !
The view during winter is good actually ,if the weather is perfect ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem in Tongxiao, which we only found out about this week. It seems it's the most complete Japanese shrine complex left in Taiwan and will be even more impressive once the current restoration is complete.
