★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This large sized river-side park is a great place to cycle, dog walk or do sports. There are some well kept facilities and plenty of space. It’s clearly a new park and will benefit from time and tree growth. At the moment it’s lacking shade so don’t come on a hot day. Unfortunately it’s also lacking a cafe or convenience store which means that you have to leave to get refreshments.
This is a good place to watch bats. Tip: bring water and a flashlight as it gets dark on the paths.
