Texture of toast bread is tender and moisture.

Impolite and rude service, expensive, tastes not as expected. Rubbery bread. The one who is slicing the bread is very rude.

Not a big selection, but the stuff they sell is like crack! So addicting. I did not expect to love the cheesy toast and “croissant” so much.

Good Japanese croissant shaped salty buttery bread aka shio pan and soft toast bread from Tottori.

The slat croissant is so delicious. The texture is soft and nice and the smell and taste of butter is so great. However there is quite much customers, the service might not be very well.

I tried the raisin toast and the pizza bread. They both tasted good but not that impressive as people say. The C/P value is not high, to be honest. However, if you dig their marketing of organic materials, it'll definitely be one of your favorites.

I used to be a loyal customer when the shop just opened and I would make trips to the neighbourhood just for the bread. After having a kid I haven’t been back much, and have felt the huge drop in both the customer service and quality of bread. Needless to say, I have had great holistic experiences and that’s why I had previously been back over and over again. They used to have a very pleasant and personable cashier who can speak fluent Japanese (she has lived in Japan for a couple of years), used to have an authentic Japanese baker, and were able to do an extra cut on a loaf of bread. My experience: 1. No smile whatsoever (I am a smiley customer that would greet people upon entrance). 2. Got impolitely scolded at for not wearing a mask (come on… I just got out from the dentist next door and have forgotten to put a mask back on — a gentle reminder would work just fine. I totally respect mask-wearing in the current pandemic, and I always have a mask on even when most Taiwanese are not wearing masks in public now.) 3. After getting out of the bakery I immediately slapped my mask on and finally saw the words on the glass door saying everyone inside must wear masks (Hello??? It’s highly unreadable!). But if you really do care and have principles, why are all the staff inside the enclosed space, except for the older cashier, not wearing masks? If your employee is sick please don’t let them handle food with or without a mask on! And there’s another customer who was served without a mask on right after I stepped out. Talk about double standard. 4. The “limited edition” breads were all bagged and ready to go but they make customers wait outside in the summer heat to create buzz. Marketing strategies over customers’ comfort. Overheard some complaints during the wait. 5. Last few times when my family got Trees Bread for me, the hand cut loafs were so irregular that it wouldn’t fit in my Japanese toaster. So I’ve asked the staff to do 7 cuts instead of 6 like I previously had. The cashier insisted that’s my problem and that the boss had specifically ordered that they are only allowed to do 6 cuts. Seriously? 6. After getting my uncut loaf of bread, I’ve tasted it and… of course the quality went down. So not worth it. Each and every interaction from the first contact to the final transaction was severely poor. Such a disappointment as it used to be one of my favourites. Still can’t believe these sort of customer service exists in my charming Taiwan. After this terrible experience I’ve looked at reviews on Google — it’s no surprise that they are loaded with negative comments. And you can see how the same staff always wear the mask halfway.
