Fairway: good/under-maintenance, nice view
Green: fair/slow
Clubhouse: average
Shower/locker: clean but facilities below average
Course management: very poor, overloaded with slow playing golf teams.
Cannot finish 9 holes in 3 hours during WEEKDAY!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful golf course with very clean and new clubhouse. I heard the course in part haven't done its construction yet therefore we started playing from 2nd hole then one of the long hole should have been divided into 2 short holes to spare 1st hole so that Total par is only 70 though,all courses are well maintained. Very nice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very high CP value. A great course. The restaurant is also very nice, with lots of traditional Hakka food. A great place to golf and eat at northern Taiwan. Close to Taipei with only 1 hour drive.

So u can see Taiwan strait in some holes.
Strong wind in winter.
Green is really good, but slope is big and speed is fast.
Very challenge green if you cannot do putt well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First thoughts when invited to play at Tsai Hsing was A) it’s far from Taipei and B) if I’m going to go all the way out there, might as well play Sunrise CC (one of my favorites). Now that I’ve finally played THE Club, I have to say I’m impressed. Condition is better than I thought. Don’t let the yellowish fairways fool you, they still play true. Greens are in good shape and rolling faster than you think. Overall, I’d come back again for sure BUT maybe after they’re done renovating those two holes. When I played, they cut a par 5 into a par 3 and par 4 and a hole in back nine in order to perform maintenance on those two holes. So be warned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the Best if not the Best golf clubs in Taiwan, I can almost guarantee you can’t find any faults at this club! One of the keys to giving this place 5 star aside from all the basic stuff is the food, rarely do Taiwan golf clubs have food as good as this place!!
