TWG Tea Salon & Boutique at Taipei 101

Lasagne and steak are delicious but soup is very soso. TWG tea is offered without tea leaves so cant be refilled.

Unbelievable selection of teas from all over the world. Perfect for afternoon or evening hangout. Foods are great as well. Definitely my cup of tea.

Hey have some very delicious sweets with some very unique flavors of macaroons. It was a little pricey but so not really any more than most stores in Taipei 101. The staff had a gentleman who spoke English and was able to help us out no problem. We were there around 1pm on a weekday and there was nobody else there but us so if you’re looking for some dessert after lunch it was a nice find.

This experience was amazing! Please don't be put off by the high prices (at least relative to most of Taipei). The tea is fantastic, though there is not much help in the case you aren't familiar with TWG teas, as the Tea list is MASSIVE (but it is very hard to go wrong)!!!!! The food is delicious. I got the Truffle Mushroom Linguini and the Teatime 1837 Tea set (tea, muffins, and macarons). The linguini was amazing by any standards, even more so a tea place's. The muffins and jelly were perfect and the macarons magical. If you enjoy some good tea, this place is worth it!

Actually really enjoyed our lunch there! Applause to the chef there. Though the items on the menu for main course are not too many, but they are all tasty.( We're a group of three and we all enjoyed our orders) The environment is pretty nice. We're not experts in tea so we don't have so much opinion and asked the waiter for suggestions. He is quite patient and tell me everything that I need to know. So... no complaints.

Five stars for its amazing tea but minus 4 stars for all the bad services we received. We were there on Friday afternoon at 5PM. It was holiday but the tea shop wasn’t that busy. We were shown to our seat right away. We ordered tea and some sandwiches (since the scones and chicken aren’t longer available). The waitresses seem extremely busy (although it was only one third full) that they don’t really spend time to explain anything. We had sandwiches only to find out at the last bite that it contained a tiny hair. : ( I ordered two macaroons to go with the tea. Half way done (still probably have 1/3 pot left) we asked the eaitress (Ulia?) to fill in some hot water. She said it would cost extra for hot water. We said ‘fine’ (thinking that she would pour hot water into our pot). She said that there were no tea leaves in the pot and needed to bring the pot to the back in Over to give us hot water. We were puzzled but thought ‘maybe this is how TWG does it’ and allowed her to bring the tea pot to the back. 5 minutes later, She returned with one new looking pot and two new cups. She then poured two cups of hot water into the cups for us. We asked what happened to the tea? She said, ‘I said hot water costs more!’ I said’ I thought you meant hot water as a refill costs more?’ She drops something on our table LOUDLY, annoyingly says ‘THIS IS FREE THEN’, and turned around and just WALKED away. Wow this was the worst service I’ve ever encountered in a while. Definitely not to expect coming from The Wellness Group! Before we can bring up the fact that there was a tiny hair in the sandwiches, the waitress decided to away proudly without any explanation. Luckily the only nice waiter, Deraj (deom Mumbai) was very keen to talk to us as we complained. He was the only one who cared about the service and made us feel slightly better. This is definitely not a place for high end tea or meal. This TWG needs to retrain it’s staff about hospitality.

We came here for the high tea and to rest our tired feet after walking so many places around Taipei. Upon entering this place, we felt that there's sandalwood essential oil(maybe it's tea scented candle)defused in the background, it's very soothing. The tea selections' overwhelming. Luckily, our server was a tea connoisseur, he gave us some basic guidelines, so we got the tea we like. For the price tag, the food was average. The black truffle sandwiches was mostly button mushroom paste. If you tried really really , really hard, you get the hint of black truffle. The cakes were very pretty and not too sweet. The servers were informative, however, I would suggest they fine-tune the training towards customer services. After all, who would like to be served by a baron or baroness. Less attitude more smile would be appreciated.

Wonderful experience with TWG Taiwan .. Simply love it. It's a rainy day and I was dying for some proper hot tea. Glad to have my favourite Jasmine Queen. My kid enjoyed his simple club sandwich with salad. Our favourite truffle sandwiches came warm with the crisp toast. The pot of tea was huge and good enough for a meal per person. I felt so comfortable through the whole meal service. Excellent professional service rendered. Thank you so much. Definitely will be back again.
