★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out of all the Asian chain coffee shops in Taipei (Mr. Brown, Ikari, etc.) Ueshima is definitely the best. It’s super clean and the environment is really nice. The staff is attentive to detail with their service. The coffee is just ok. The sandwiches are nice; they taste fresh and I like that they don’t use the sweet milk bread that a lot of other cafes use. They use a multigrain or a non-sweetened white/wheat blend. Favorite sandwiches are the BLT and smoked salmon sandwiches. Great environment for studying and working; the only drawback to that is they have like 2 electric plug outlets, which is annoying if you want to charge a computer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usually packed, need to wait for the next available seat but difficult to because people usually stay there for long time. Been here for at least 3 times but left at the end because of wait. Other than that, it's pretty good overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Japanese style café with relaxing ambience. I like the drip coffee here. Sandwich is delicious as well. Pretty crowded in Saturday’s afternoon so only two hot coffee beverages were served when we came in. Pity!

The sesame coffee is great! Be aware, really busy at weekend!
