★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As i know the biggest night market in Taipei. there are a lot of food stall along the way and they provide taiwanese local food. For moslem not recommended to find food in here because most of the food stall provide non halal food.

Tips: at one of the entrances to this food court, there are lockers (mostly small one with a few big one). So if you have shopping from else where that you dont want to carry, theres a place to store them. Just remember to collect them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The underground market is just part of the whole Shilin experience. Honestly the stalls there are pretty much selling the same things. In their heydays there were plenty of tourists and it’s always packed but now they are struggling for visitors and most people actually rather eat at the unique stalls at the outdoors market instead. The must try dish would be oyster omelette where you get egg and some gooey starch thing together with fresh oysters cooked in a pancake looking thing, and drizzled with an orange sauce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the big night market in Taipei. If you are looking for some food stall in particular, zoom into it or you will end up walking in circle. There are two popular Hot-Star fried chicken stalls in this market. The one along Jihe road is easier to find. The basement food court offers a huge varieties of choices. Sitting is available as long as you order some food from the stall, you may bring some items from other stalls but it is best to ask before sitting. The market offer the usual stuffs and food so explore and enjoy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shop for rice or noodles and plenty of street food. Must play the Fishing the shrimp games. It's fun for both kids and adults. Cost TWD100 for 7 fishing sticks for many tries if you are good.. Try to catch as many shrimps as possible. Prawn that caught are BBQ for you. Trust me it's not easy! Lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually go downstairs to get Taiwanese style Teppanyaki. Awesome meal for 150nt ($5). You get house soup (free refills), main dish, 3 veggies. Everything made fresh. Awesome deal.
