The peak of the two mountain peaks in Jiufen is 1,178 meters above sea level. It is number 047, which is one of the small Baiyue in Taiwan. The 921 earthquake caused dramatic changes in the terrain and formed dammed lakes, sloping houses, and large landslides. The first half of the hiking trail at Ershan Mountain in Jiufen was a zigzag uphill on the cement road until the end of the sign, starting with a large piece of Maraba chestnut trees on both sides of the road followed by a large piece of bamboo forest. In the second half, the standard mountain trail follows the triangle next to the signboard, and then reaches the top of the mountain along the ridge line of the ridge. There is a guardrail next to the line of the road to ensure the safety of mountaineers. Everyone thinks that the question is the Jiufen Ershan hiking trail, but the stone monument at the mouth of the mountain is indeed the center of the mountain.

There is no view on the top of the mountain, but standing on the ridgeline, looking at the surroundings, I can't help shuddering when I imagine the surroundings were once bare after 921. The betel nut tree grows so fast that it has filled the opposite mountain ridge in 20 years. The zigzag concrete agricultural road going up to the mountain pass of the Central Mountain should be the most difficult place to walk. The moss is slippery, and the origin moves from time to time. The trail is not difficult to walk, but the rocks are slippery and unreliable.

The ZigZag of the industrial road all the way up the steep slope, about 400 meters behind, 150 straight up to the ridge line, Shandeng’s sight line is good and the breeze is very comfortable, about 3 kilometers back and forth.

The road to the mountain pass is not long, so you need to be careful and slow.

There are big rocks at the entrance of the mountain (the entrance to the mountain at the center of the mountain), which is quite easy to identify. The way to the mountain is a single track, and it will be more difficult to drive and meet cars.
