★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to this store for the first time 50+ years ago. Although I do not come back to Taiwan often, I would find time to visit this store every time I am in Hsinchu, Taiwan. The taste and favor of cakes, breads, and some Taiwanese cold cuts that offered in this store are still maintained in good value and cost all these 50+ years. Try something in this store, you won't be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Venus Bakery became really popular recently after it was reported as one of some celebrities’ favorite go-to spots in Hsinchu. They serve not only pastries & bread but also various braised dishes.
We got 2 baguettes and 2 boxes of braised food to shared with a group of two. The portion was huge with reasonable price and we even finished all for 2 meals. The food was overall delicious, especially the baguette, which was soft inside with thin & salted layer.
