Flavor wise: Very close to authentic Hong Kong style food. Fried rice with liver and pork sausage was tasty. Turnip cake was also tasty. Price: Overpriced, for such portion quantity, as only ordered these two dishes and drinks costing a total of 600ntd. Service: Average.

Unless you speak Taiwanese or Mandarin Chinese, don't come here. None of the staff speaks English and they will not give two %$^# about serving you. I asked for an English menu and got one with pictures - cool, we're off to a good start, I thought. It's just not that simple, at least not here. I ended up nodding to everything the lady was saying as perhaps "add-ons" to the one dish I chose. No problem, I'll take a drink and a bowl of soup with the beef dish. Next comes the worst part of this whole experience. I waited and waited for my drink and meal. It never came, instead the lady brought my check to me and threw it down on the table! I am not exaggerating, she threw the check on my table! I didn't even get my drink and I'm staring at a check that said the meal I haven't eaten yet costs $320 ntd ($10 usd) which seemed rather high for Taipei. I then walked up to the front counter and tried my best to communicate somehow I have not received the food yet. They got the point and I got my meal a few minutes later. Rudeness and lack of customer service aside, the food was okay, definitely not worth $320 ntd. The sauce tasted good but the beef was not tender and too chewy. Places like these reminds foreigners to take our money to where it's appreciated like the Taipei 101 area.

Please don't go in. The food and the service are just way below the par of this area where you can find quite some amazing restaurants. High prices, meh food. Wonton didn't taste right, and everything else was subpar. Would not go again.

Their food isn't bad, but the place is dirty. Two times I went we've found bugs in our food. One time I'll chalk it up to an accident, but twice... that just means they're unhygienic. There are other HK food places in Ximen that are better, so there's no reason to visit Victoria.

I am not sure if this dish is supposed to be the way it was served to me. However, you would not normally expect your sausage to taste like strawberry syrup and the chicken parts to be inedible bones. The staff are very rude. The experience was terrible.

Tucked in a small Alley, also known as "Victoria Restaurant", this place serves up fantastic claypot rice that I didn't expect roaming the streets of XiMenDing as a tourist. The claypot rice comes in different types, their signature chinese sausage (lap cheong) with mushrooms or their hamburger steak versions were both flavourful with a good proportion of those good charred bits of rice. I based my review on the flavour of the dishes solely, minus the passable service. THINGS TO NOTE: Menu only comes in Mandarin! So please do get someone who can help with that! ??
